COMMUNITY MEETING TO DISCUSS PLANS AND LOGISTICS OF ARTWATER 2009
THE 3rd ANNUAL ARTWATER MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL
IS HAPPENING SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 2009
FROM 11am – 7pm
ARTWATER is a ‘Celebration of Music, Art, Dance and Community’
creating awareness for the Atwater Village neighborhood.
There will be a community meeting to discuss plans and logistics
on Wed, February 4th at Pat & Oscar’s.
We welcome any and all suggestions and encourage volunteers to step forward to help make this event a memorable one. If you have a few hours you can spare for this non-profit street festival please contact Carolyn @ dexterzmum@sbcglobal.net
WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING SUBMISSIONS FOR:
ARTISANS & MERCHANTS: We will have rental booths for artists of all kinds to sell their work and handicrafts. Atwater Village merchants and local non-profit groups are also welcome to join in. Interactive, creative activities for kids and adults are a high priority for this day of fun. Please contact danica212@gmail.com for an application.
A 10 x 10 booth with a canopy, table and 2 chairs runs $125, w/o canopy $100.
BAND PERFORMANCES: Local musicians can submit a brief bio and music sample by February 15th to: seth@sethfreemanmusic.com
