Historic Protection for Griffith Park?

Here's How You Can Help

Griffith Park's nomination for Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument status is gaining friends. The Federation of Canyon and Hillside Associations, an umbrella organization of 36 residential associations ranging from Glassell Park to Pacific Palisades has thrown its support behind the initiative. The Los Feliz Improvement Association, the city's oldest residential association and largest in the Griffith Park area, has voted unanimously to do the same. Starting next week, other community groups and associations including neighborhood councils, will consider endorsing the Griffith J. Griffith Family Trust's application.
